I’ve been on the above lorry for two weeks and I reported that the seat belt was faulty, always locking when it retracted back into the seat. Later i realised that when the ignition is on it releases itself and then when off it locks again, is this normal?
Yeah thats normal on Scanias for some unknown reason

yep perfectly normal and bizarrely the small motor that allows this to happen costs around £300 to replace when it goes wrong surely would be easier and cheaper to use the same system as every other manufacturer

Yes but then Scania wouldn’t be able to justify their vastly inflated prices
