welshboyinspain:
can’t believe your 52 plate 580 is valued as a part ex at 15k! if i had 15k i’d buy it off you and you could maybe get price down a bit on the 620 for cash sale!!
scanias are expensive here in spain especially V8’s but once you’ve had one there’s no going back
Some dealers offered me 12k.& mine without blowing own horn is tidy.
i think the reason it looks cheap to me is because in the uk 4x2’s are generally cheaper whereas in europe thats a standard truck so no discounts, all to do with the tax differences in the uk i suppose
if the moneys right bite i say,and just for the record i know some one who had a1850v8 actros and a toplin,he changed both for a new mp3 1846 and an r500…the r500 is easier on fuel then a 500 or 460 actros
Big Truck:
Did you try and price a brand new 500 horse 6x2 Magnum with the extra gear that you want
I think Scania prices are just too stupid to even contemplate in the current depressed climate
Go on Bear I double dare you to price a new Magnum
Rose to the dare Biggy.58k brand new.Yeah I know you Ive got to look at that price.Trouble is somedays I will have 5/6 drops on.Will be like a fireman jumping in & out that thing.Nightmare in winter aswell just to keep hands clean off grab handles.
But your right alot of truck for the money.
So if you got 15K from Renault (or sell private) for your 580 trade,
you would have a brand new shiny 2009 Magnum for 43K,
you need to see the doctor about getting stronger tablets if you don’t seriously consider that deal
Ok a Mag is not that handy for muti-drop but think of the size of that “living room” cab compared to a topline and you can always get a box of cheap throw away rubber gloves for the grab handles in the Winter.
I take it she comes with 2 years R+M too
ellies dad:
cant beat a scani v8,from a diehard mercedes fan

i’ma diehard merc fan too ellies dad because of the cab which i think is the best of all but before the one i’ve got now i had a V8 topline but the bosses son wanted it so i sacrificed engine size for cab size

She does.Forgot to say that the 58K only gets you the truck. No paint or D/brights etc.& will he not take a p/x for that price.Straight cash deal.
Still a good price!!! If you like em!!!
Reckon the unloaders will be very worried when they see me in cab putting rubber gloves on
