Further to my previous post re fixed fifth wheels.
I have seen a clean R470 Scania on a 55 plate. I am assuming this will be Euro 3. I have looked at the gov tax websites but cannot make any sense on what the road tax is likely to be. Will it still be £1200 for the year or seeing as the emissions are lagging behind later models will it be penalised?
Also anything to look out for on these - showing 820k but very well looked after. Opticruise box etc.

I had a 2004 R470 for 8 yrs (2007-2014).The “major” Problems I had was…New Oil cooler, New Turbo,Main ECU,Rebuilt Compound Turbo,Range Change fell apart,New Fan,Then to top it off the engine block cracked from one end to the other on nearside.Of which I believe is common on these engines…Best of Luck !
