Hello guys,
I am new to the forum so sorry if this was asked before. I currently drive a 2011 Scania R440 and I have a very strange problem on the automatic climate control. No matter on what temperature I leave the climate control, on the drivers side it only blows hot air and on the passenger side it only blows cold air. Has anybody else had this issue, any suggestions?
Thank you for the help.
The climate control on the now old shape Scania’s is ropey and this is a common problem with our older Scania’s. Only fixable by a trip to the workshop.
Always irked me that there isn’t just as ‘Off’ button.

Join the club. We have an all Scrapia fleet and even some of our 15 plates have problems with the climate control. On ours no matter what you set it at the temp always feels the same. It warms up nicely when you first switch the ignition on but after a while every temp just feels the same. Tried it with the Econ button on and off, makes no difference.
I see, so it is not really a just happening to me thing. Thank you for the feedback guys.
It is weird however because I went at Scania, they checked it and it gives no errors no nothing, they said everything seems in check but they can not understand what the problem might be without taking out the entire dashboard.
Check that re-circ is off, the econ button switches the aircon compressor on and off. Also try it on auto, set temp to 22 be warmish, 26 be hotter. Climite controlled systems will play up if the outside temp sensor is getting false readings, eg damp in plug.
