Does any one know if the R-series Scania has a 12 v supply in the top console by the tacho ?
Confused. Are you saying you have a 4 series fitted with a tacho fitted in the radio console? There should be a voltage dropper behind the right hand front speaker that powers th radio. Well thats what is in mine. Hope this helps mate
Oooopsy daisy. It’s an R - Series, not a 4. Must have had my old truck on my mind ! 
Only guessing but,im assuming you want power for a cb radio,so… if you have a handsfree kit installed get the 12v power from there.

Asked my local Scania dealer the same question last week so I can wire my cb up.
He said there are 2 wires going to a plug
positive 12 volt = green and negative earth = black
behind one of the blanks in the top console (By side of tacho)

Found it !. If you pull out the far left cubby hole, next door but 1 to the tacho, there is a yellow 4-pin multiplug with the said wires hiding up in there. Cheers.
