ellies dad:
Daf CF-Volvo FM-Scania P cab-all toys unlike the man/mercs/ivecos /twingos
Well where i worl we have a CF and i judge a truck on this if it has 3 steps on the way up its a proper truck if it has 2 ala CF/P-cab/FM its a tonka toy,the CF is the biggest of the three thou and in fairness to Daf the windows go all the way into the door unlike the other two.
Keep your chin up hi
Judge a truck by the number of stepsâ â ?
Iâm sure an IVECO EUROSTAR has more than 2 steps and thats the biggest heap of â â â â iâve ever had the displeasure of driving!
On the other hand my I-Shift FM 'Trotter was a top motor for a week away, albiet smaller than its FM stablemate.
Last place i worked at had brand new flat roof FHâs and FM Globetrotters, NO ONE wanted the FMâs cause they werenât a big truck and they had âThat stooopid auto box!â. Needless to say i laughed all the way to my FM!

I would rather have an FH flat top than a FM Globby due the to floor arrangement in the FM making it very â â â â â â â â â â â And you canât stand up in a FM Globby either, unlike the CF Space.

You would have had to form a que behind me if i was working there. who cares how tall the motor is, well nearly all of you it would appear.
The CF Space is a great motor and canât be classed as a Tonka Toy as it has lots of storage and you can stand up in it easy. As you would know if youâd spent any time in one.
I drove 1 for a week, and couldnt get out fast enough, but then I drove an XF for a week and wasnt impressed with that either, maybe its a Daf(t) thing.
I also had a Globetrootter for 6 months, it was ok but only ok.
I drive a Premium, it does everything a topline mega space or globetrooter does, Iâm not going to say its the perfect motor coz it aint, but its no worse than all the âproper trucksâ
And its been a bloody sight more reliable than the couple off FH globys and 1 Daf that are or have lurked around the yard.

Yes mate, but its only just over 3years old.
Shhush dont tell anyone else, but I actually did a bit of cosmetic tideing up on it, put some bumper care stuff on the black plastic panels and fittings. Give them back a bit of lustre from where the sun had bleached it
