I’ve got a little problem with the offside rear cab mount on an R series scania.
Both sides inflate, but the offside dosn’t go up as much as the nearside. I can’t see sod all in my nearside mirror except the front of the trailer. There’s a control valve on the nearside, But that operates both sides, So you would expect both sides to go up equally wouldn’t you?
I maybe wrong, but the fitters at our place keep the valves in stock because they go wrong quite frequently!
Never had that but found several front cab mounts broken over the years, obviously been for some time in some cases, doesn’t anyone check the vehicle properly any more, if they can bothered to raise the bonnet to check the oil the snapped mount will be waving at them, flimsy design that should have sorted by the maker within weeks of the first failures.
The valves operate the front 2 bags, and the back 2 independently, not front and back on one side, and front and back on the other, if you get my drift, lol
It’s not the cab mounts, it looks like the suspension has dropped on the offside front.
