Simple question really before I ■■■■■ £20 on one.
Is the pressure from the valve on the dash as good as using a seat line?

comes from same source so should be same pressure…
Depends on the model. Good pressure on a 4 series but crap on an R series

Oh the joy, just been and bought an orange coil one, the black push fit adaptor doesn’t reach.

Why do people get the orange ones? the genuine scania ones that fit fine are around £25.00
Much better than the nasty orange ones

Because that’s what they had , in a scanny fitting.
Use a T piece and run it from behind drivers seat. Better pressure.
as said above, and if you can get an inch of 6mm pipe you dont need to cut the pipe, just lose the air pressure release the pipe from the seat, seat pipe in t piece and 6mm pipe in the other end and plug bak into seat fitting
Yes I should have said, don’t cut the pipe, just add a but to one end!
Well this orange ones going back tomorrow, it’s a pos, and leaks air at every joint.
I’ll do the seat mod, I don’t want to wreck a new wagon by cutting the seat. Ta all.
Just get the proper one, proper connection and looks a lot better than the orange ones… Oh and it works just as good as any others
Got to agree with Trubster, bought 2 of those crappy orange things and adapted it to fit and had nothing but trouble with them.
Got the proper Scania airblower and as to be expected it works brilliantly, more pressure and fits perfectly.
Get the proper one,you won’t regret it.

As good as a seat line?
Oh well after using same one for 6 years in 2 different wagons, I must be wrong. Driven other wagons with the poncey Scania branded ones fitted to dash and thought they were complete junk.
I think so stress head but its all down to personal choice.
Is it just me or do these T pieces keep leaking, every truck I have been in with them seems to be accompanied with a complementary hissing noise.
Just get the proper one and you are not vandalising/damaging your truck. Plus the orange coil looks crap… Lol
