Hi all I’m hoping someone can help me. Ive got scania 143 at work thats lacking power. Ive changed the filters and cleaned the stack pipe. It white smokes a bit so ive looked at the fuel pump timing and its at 11 degrees before tdc is this correct? The sticker on the rocker covers missing. Cheers

can’t beat a good NT855, even better when you can hear it echoing through the Derbyshire dales!
I think we are going to need just a little bit more information about the vehicle if you want to know about pump timing, like how old is it , what is the engine code and what is the power rating? A bit more about the actual symptoms of lack of power would help too.
White smoke means injectors are done. Or pump. Timing is propably right but you can advance it to 22 degrees if you want real power.
