First pic could be two for the price of one, the southbound outfit with a rear lift is either a Scania or Volvo, the northbound one definitely is one of Sodertalje’s finest though
Another proper lorry and trailer for you Bill

FUT710V - Originally owned and operated by Danny Cronin. Looks like he’s pulling a Rentco trailer. He was a subbie for us in the very early days. Last heard working for ARR Craib
The 141 on the right GNR 141V is now restored in J & M Murdoch’s colours
Taken at Truckfest Scotland last year

Hi there!
First of all i would like to introduce me to all user here in this nice forum.
My name is Jörg, i’m from Germany and 37 years old.
I found this interesting site and had to become a member.
I’m interested in old time lorries especially Büssing and Scania, and middle east transport.
Sorry in advance, if my english brings some problems…
Below (i hope) you will find a pic of my '78 Scania.
Best wishes from Germany!

Great photo Jorg, have you got any of the truck before it was restored?
Hello LB76!
I’m sorry but i have not.
To tell the hole story:
From 2004 till 2008 i restored a Büssing totally.
Between 2008 and 2011 i visited many oldtimer-festivals with it, including a trip to greece.
But in this period i became in touch with all those middle east-transport pictures and was totally blown away. I decided to offer the Büssing, to get a Scania because it’s a real middle east-legend.
At the same time a lad from the south of germany sold his restored scania he bought in italy.
It was too uncomfortable for him (wheelbase 3,4m).
I bought it from the money of the Büssing, changed the look “old-school-like” and restored the inside of the cab in the original way including many changings on the outside.
I did not found a Büssing-thread in this forum, so i don’t know where to post pictures of my ex-truck…
If you like more pictures of the scania it’s no problem, but only of the style it looks today.
Hope this was understandable…
Greetings
