The E-6, the main road from Goteborg to Oslo has suffered a landslide which has done severe damage. This is a relatively new section of the road, and until it can be repaired, northbound traffic is using side roads and southbound traffic is having to take a ferry. He’s going Helsingor/Helsingborg then up the E06 to Oslo via Gotenburg. Rang and told him about landslide and that there were diversions northbound and he’d have to catch ferry back south but he was adamant that there would be diversions southbound as well Just have to wait and see what happens as he wants to be back saturday for a family party.

Yesterday had we an landslide in Norway asswell, between Oslo and Kristiansand on the E-18…traffic goes via the 313
According to the news there was an earthquake here in the UK. A tremor measuring 3.5 shook houses in Dumfries and Galloway.
There is also fear that there is a Tsunami on its way to the Phillipines after a massive tremor off Taiwan which measured 7.2 on the Richter scale.

My mate says that he’s off to Oslo via Hirtshal (Denmark) to Larvik south of Oslo. Just checked ferry route and it says that it’s 5 hours Denmark to Norway but 14 hours on the return journey. Why is that? Does it visit other ports on route although it doesn’t say so on web site.

is it the same route■■? Oslo-Hirtshals is about 11-12 hours.
