We had about 5 Routemans when I was a fitter at Mansfield Roadways. 4 of them quickly died but we ran 1, STS 217S for a couple of years. It used to go through head gaskets at the rate of about 1 a week. Not a fun job to put right with no tilt cab.
The air filter and the batteries were in the cab too. One battery behind each seat.
