Yes this did Middle East. As someone else has said, it was featured in one of the early editions of one of the truck magazines in the '70s. I think I kept the article with some M/E docs somewhere in storage. From memory I believe it was RR-powered. This is the only sleeper conversion I have seen. Does anyone know why more were not converted to sleepers, especially those on TIR work? The only time I ever went in one of these was in about 1970 when I hitched a lift in one and I was much impressed! Robert

It was a ex Ross Foods wagon, it was powered by a Rolls Royce 265L engine, & was operated in its later very smart guise by Wiltshire based owner/driver Norman Howard. Regards Chris
