One of the first trucks I drove was a whitbread Scammell chinese 6 back in 1986, 220 roller in it , I was dock shunting wood pulp into Bowaters at E/port

Welcome mate the pictures absolutely great really enjoyed them
i used to work for Myatts/Masons Cudworth Barnsley& Rotherham pushed one or two Scammels up and down the road very reliable motors the first one i drove was bought from shell long bonnet job gate gear change Eric Hadshead taught me to drive it not easy at first but soon got used to it then we got the Routman,s 872 EWT 8 wheeler bloody cold tho until Tom/Nock Myatt put a bus heater in out of a double decker you prob too young to have seen them big as a mini wheel &mesh covered i remember ginner Atinson coming down Holloway in that motor middle January 1968 with just his shirt on sweatin nobody comlained anymore. i am in Fuerteventura Canarys for a few weeks love to get on Truck Net some very good lads on here and will help you all they can regards to all keep warm lorrymen.
