Hi Fergie,
Hope you don’t mind me moving one of your photographs, but this is the kind of styling which caught my eye, flamboyant, brave or futuristic?
Don’t mind at all, glad you’re enjoying and getting into the old French marque…
Here’s a few more golden oldies…
Hi Fergie, I’ll take the one in the second photo, nice and easy access in and out of cab, what make and year is it please?
Re-posted for hereford1971,Cheer’s Pete
Going to apologies now, for later !!
Apart from photo’s from magazines, I’ve been lucky enough to meet 2 French lads who have a huge collection of photo’s that they have kindly sent me on disk and via computer to post here. The problem is at the moment I can’t see a way of marking the ones I’ve posted…so I know that I’m doubling up here and there…bear with me till I can devise a cunning plan, other than relying on my (poor) memory…

Well, thanks lads… I think I can do it by star marking them in Picasa, it will take me longer though, but, if you guys don’t really mind… 9
Filled up with diesel yesterday at our local supermarket. 0.92.5 euro per litre, think that’s about 70p in your money…
As a matter of interest, what’s the price around your area…?

Helo Pete.
No, you would not like that little H serie Latil, which became the Saviem LRS serie H. She is a 1957, with a little 4 cylinder. You would really prefer the big Somua, in the next picture down, with the 190 hp 6 cyl, and that futuristic Cottard cab, 80 kph, @26 tonnes in the 58/61 period. That was some lorry, and she had a heater, and leather seats!..A mans lorry!
Happy Christmas, …Joyeux Noel…
Cheerio for now.

You’re richer in the South than us poor Bretons, that’s why it’s more expensive…
