What`s the pole mounted on the front bumper, please?
Early height stick
If it starts to flex you don’t carry on under the bridge

How quick are your reactions? ![]()
That thought occurred, as did some sort of top loaded antenna?
If it was red and yellow it might been a big Spanish souvenir?

I think the Superpoise was a normal control vehicle. But this one probably would have had the fabulous (is my bias showing?) TS3. If not it should have!

Of course they did! That was their main production, with the famous “Mobylette”.
It was my first non-human powered vehicle in 1973; exactly similar to this one.Might have been available in France too, but I have no memory of such a big air filter. At that time, pedals were compulsory on mopeds on this side of the Channel; they’re no longer, fortunately.
One reason why mopeds were more popular on the Continent is that one could (and still can) drive them from the age of 14 licence-free, when British teenagers had to wait to be 16 and, I think, had to pass a kind of licence. Moreover, mopeds (in fact any powered two-wheeler under 50 cc) only need numberplates since 2009 in France.
Froggy, the Trilex Unic is a ZU 120T ( Izoard ) and the standard one is a ZU 100 T (Lautaret ), it was originally built from factory.
Great picture Michel, With a name like " Isotherme " is this Unic a fridge lorry ?. Cheers, Ray Smyth.
Thanks, Michel! I have the whole story somewhere, but too lazy to look for it. This Unic cab was very modern when it was launched in 1954; very spacious compared to the Berliet “M”, for example.

Thought I recognised the wheels, I built a model of the 6x6 GMC, however my modling skills matched my patience, which is zero, it was eventually court marshalled for pi$$ing me off, taken down the field and executed with a 12 bore…

This removal truck is in fact built on a Berliet PLR 10 bus chassis, thus offering a very spacious cab, for the driver and crew. A beautiful bodywork!

What year and h.p. Froggy, certainly beautiful body work, as we’re a lot of that type of vehicle a few years back…
