You wouldn’t really grass me up for a moments indiscretion would you Pete ? This isolation business must be affecting my judgement .

Panhard with semi-trailer for delivering food to country shops in Champagne.
In Paris, these Panhard tractors were massively used by the Sernam, the State Railway parcel delivery service, with automatic coupling semi-trailors.
Bonne annee a’tous…2021
Thanks again to everyone, from all over Europe, for your contributions this passed year to Saviems thread, I’m sure if John is looking down on us he’ll be chuffed its lasted so long, with so many photographs and comments…
Having moved this year and doing so much decorating and getting the exterior of the house and garden up together, I haven’t been on here as much as I’d like, must make a new years resolution to try harder…
Take care everyone, and keep safe, and lets hope 2021 is a better year than 2020…
Fergie
For the last pics this year, here are some oldies in the snow, in keeping with
the festive period
Thanks, Dave, for the pictures! No snow here, fortunately. Pic 1 is a Berliet GPM 10 W; Pics 2 & 7 Berliet GDM 10 W; Pic 8 Berliet CBA, perhaps during WW I; Last one must be a Henschel HS 140. Best wishes to all contributors, even to supporters of a hard Brexit, and let’s hope we’ll continue to enjoy nice pictures and comments!
To celebrate this day, here’s a beautiful Rochet-Schneider Centaure of c. 1948-49.Cheers
Paul
Have a nice new year 2021. The difficult winter on the Auvergne roads in the 60th. Froggy, it’s not an Henschel I believe a Mercdedes L 332.
Thanks Michel! And have you any idea concerning the truck on the right of the Rochet Centaure? Perhaps Panhard or Ford “Poissy”?
I think a Renault 208 which had disc wheels to the difference of the 4080 its successor which had spoke wheels as this one.

The distinctive rear hub made me think Renault. The local coal merchant had one in the village in Normandy that I lived in many years ago.
Here’s a picture of a 208 D from a Renault brochure. I think the petrol version (208 E) may have had disc wheels, but not the 4080.

Anyone ever heard of this brand?
I hadn’t until now.

There are examples with all sorts of cabs on them. They must have been going for some time- one of them has a DAF 2800 shed on it.
Here’s one with a raised Turbostar cab:

It’s in Pinterest, so that’s the end of that.

Early prototype of the now new S-series
Luckilly, this prototype was never put into production! A true wart!

I hadn’t either. An interesting discovery!
Here’s the Iveco-cabbed one:
It looks like they have stuck two standard Turbostar grilles together. The model name, if Iveco naming conventions apply, suggests it is a 48 tonner with 420bhp. However, the badge on the front says Intercooler, so it is probably the 480bhp Iveco engine, in a 42 tonne chassis. Lucky, the badge was in Iveco’s parts bin! That specification dates it to late 1980s.
They all look like well-engineered vehicles. I’m amazed that they were not as well-known as the other Italian specialists, Perlini and Astra. You learn something new every day on this forum. Well, every week, maybe.
Another outfit built 6x4 and 6x6 heavy / specialist versions of the Iveco EuroTrakker. They were called SIVI. They seemed to be a sort of Iveco equivalent to Mercedes /Titan. I’m not sure of the relationship twixt Iveco and Sivi but this picture shows both names next to each other on the dealership or factory in the pic. Ro
Good work, Ro. These obscure Italians are superb. Here’s another Sivi, from this site:

It says Turbostar in the caption, but that is a round-wheelarch cab, so it is an ordinary narrow one. The engine seems to be the 420bhp one, according to the badge on the door. The loudspeakers appear to be about optimal.

Certainly a TurboTech cab!
