Careful now Pete, before you know it we’ve got Herr Sutherland on here saying he’s done a thousand miles bob tailing in such a Scanny without any problems whatsoever… he’s probably got a t-shirt to prove it… :unamused:

By the looks on the faces of those people they were expecting wine as well, instead of a brew

Cheers for posting the pic’s David, nice begin of the season!

Some great cultural pictures of Rome Patrick. Thanks for posting them. I was there in 1999.

It really begs the question though , what was he up to round the back streets of Rome?

Not that it’s of your concern, but I was looking for some ■■■■ and a Irish pub… not necessarily in that order… I’ll get me coat…

Those four ladies are saying " best to ignore that grumpy old git"… seems you’ve lost your grip on them mate…

Hullo Pete,

Surprisingly well is the answer. But that’s probably more to do with the fact that I am still just about a little too young to yet find myself contending with back problems. She is a rough old girl.
But the joy of driving that motor probably supersedes the associated pain and discomfort!

Here having a last break in St Gervais before heading up towards Chamonix and then on to the border post in Châtelard and on to Martigny where she belongs…

Cheers
David

Herr Sutherland became a heavy haulage specialist last night, and he wonders why you haven’t fitted a ballast box in order to having a smoother ride when bob tailing David… he didn’t dare asking himself though, so friendly as I am, reckoned it was best to help the man…

Hi Dave,
Hope Liz and yourself keeping out of trouble?
That is a big van for that 'oss ain’t it?
I think the Wippersnapper is still wandering around this side of the channel, lost in Nottingham last I heard! Cheer’s Pete

Hi Pierre… We’re good, and you and the boss are well I hope…

Well, that 'oss is a Bretagne 'oss, they make 'em big here…

As for that Whippersnapper, he only keeps in touch when he either wants summit, he’s broke, or hungry, typical brat…wish we’d sold him years ago…

That fatherly affection shines through once again Fergie… didn’t hear you complain when I left that fiver on the table though…

Got back safe and sound Pete, got to go back though for another portion of fish and chips served by the lovely Louise mate… don’t tell senior though, he always says I’ve got no business with “mucky women”

These old boys were having a bit of a problem getting the old Renault on the low loader

Bloody hell
A shame that.
That will have cost them a prop axle and possibly more. A rare vehicle as well! An R360 V8 that looks like. Between 1980 and 1982. Any idea when and where these pics were taken? And where is she bound?
Cheers
David

Spotted this Panhard today on the motorway, you don’t see much of those about, certainly not here up North…

Certainly many interesting trucks! Just back from 15 days away from civilization, and unfortunately not much time to comment all pictures, but a pleasure to be back on the Forum!
