I reckon you’ll last just the one day… then you’ll be crawling back to those fancy [zb] meetings of yours…
Quit bickering you lot, and stop stirring it Whippersnapper, or Mrs F will come and smack your legs…again…
But, but… Johnny started! This is so unfair Senior! ( Is this a reaction your youngsters are familiar with Johnny )
Must admit I quite fancy the thought of Mrs. F slapping me legs again actually Right, I’ll get me coat…

Your dead right Mr pv83 about the reaction. Your reaction to Mrs. F. leg smackings, you’d better collect more than your coat!!

Next to the Lohéac, the Saviem SG seems to bear an army registration.
Paul,. Not sure, I think it is… …I drove one in the '70’s but can’t for the life of me remember the hp, my original F88 from the same era was 220, so I’m guessing that the Scania would be roughly the same…( Scania expert please) …stil, not a lot of hp for the gross weight…
Looks like the Loheac, along with the Saviem were destined for the chop, but you never know…
You do realise it’s running empty Senior? Tag axle is up, as are some of the axles on the trailers… time for a visit to Specsavers…? Right, I’ll get me coat…

So, whippersnapper, what are you suggesting ? he ran around empty all the time …empty, he would have his lift axles up wouldn’t he… I’m more intrigued about the old wood fire chimney stack between the two trailers…for brewing tea perhaps…

Got snow your way yet ?
No real snow yet. I now remember that in Sweden, they used to drive on the left side of the road until the late '60s; but were their vehicles fitted with RHD?
From what I remember, reading the papers at the time, most Swedish cars were left hand drive, so changing over was a logical step. I can’t remember whether Swedish lorries were LHD or RHD. IIRC there were no accidents at all on the day of changeover.
No because only cars, not trucks, we’re allowed to drive for the first couple of days and, if I remember, everything was restricted to a maximum 20 km per hour. After that trucks could move but everything was controlled with speed limits for quite a while.

Quite a radical change. Must have felt strange for a while.

I’m not suggesting owt Senior, since I’ve lost the plot years ago… but since you’ve mentioned a proper brew, does that chimney implies there’s an engine provinding some extra force for the other trailers…? In that case the old girl wouldn’t have been struggling after all I reckon…
Not an expert on Scanny’s but I’ve never seen an 0/1 series with so much headlamps fitted in the bumper?

Once read that when that rule came into force, every car on the road switched to the right side at the same hour… must have been quite a sight to behold? Maybe Swedish Danne knows a bit more about it?
