Not sure. I found it on the net. It’s possible that it is a preserved unit. Robert

Just put this outfit on the boat for you Fergie…sorry it is not the F89 you asked for!

‘Saviem’ mention these in the Giraud fleet some time ago and informed us that they were equipped with TL12s and 9-sp Fullers, as indeed were their successors the Roadtrains (one pictured below). Robert

Tales from the workshop… Oi, has anyone seen my socket? Aye, think we’ve found it mate… :unamused: :unamused:

The above really took place in the workshop of a Dutch heavy haulage firm…well known for the orange livery on their lorries…
The lads started the engine after a thorough rebuild…after some odd noises they removed the cilinderhead once again to find this…

Popquiz question, which one do you want to take home, the A110, the A310 or the…er…reincarnation of the old A110…

Popquiz question, round two!

What is it, and is it comfy to drive…?

Some more heavies from the Cometto archives…

Fergie’s taking his job as Minister of Brothels rather serious… :unamused: :unamused:

Seen today not far from Martigny, Switzerland.

One of Saviem’s favourites and probably the last of Berliet’s V8s still in active service in Switzerland.

Enjoy.

Some more

Last ones…

High winds here at the beginning of the week, a total of 110,000 homes without electricity for a couple of days, including ours…luckily we’ve an old Honda generator, so kept the fridge, freezer tv and phone going over the period.
The local Gendarmes knocked on the door early morning after the storms to organise those of us with chainsaws to help clear the local lanes cutting up fallen trees, just can’t imagine that happing in the UK. Had three trees of our own fallen, and as the sun came out the last few days been busy sorting the garden and field out …

So back to rain today, time for a few pic’s…

Haulage before lorries…horses working hard…
