Er…about those horses…management always seemed to be a bit “allergic” towards buying a lorrie with more then 500hp… When I first joined them I was given a Scanny with just 420hp…
Even the really heavy ones at the firm are just equiped with 540hp engines…strongest they’ve got in the fleet is a MAN 660, but that spends more time in the workshop then out on the road…
But they were testdriving a new Volvo 750 last week, so maybe…?
On the other hand, I don’t really feel I’ve got a lack of horses, to be honest the old Volvo still pulls like a train and hasn’t missed a beat…yet
