Thanks for the “heavies” again Fergie, much appreciated mate!
Are you sure that your name isn’t Peter Davies? Cause you’ve certainly got an archive that’s as interesting as his

Cheers, Patrick

Patrick…I’d like to take credit for all the pic’s, but I’m afraid I can’t, I’m in contact with a couple of French lads who are really into their old wagons and photos…periodically I get either a disc sent, or via computer a batch of pics which I separate then download into categories, by type, make etc, then post them up…I still scan a fair few from various French magazines though…
Unfortunately, in the next few weeks when the weather improves, I’ll go AWOL, as we’re busy here, however, this year I’m going to try to put a few pic’s on now and then…to keep you from having Saviem withdraw symptoms.!!!
Glad you like them…

Allright, that does explain a lot, be sure to thank your french mates then, and don’t worry about those “withdraw conditions”, I’ll make sure to keep an eye out on certain matters
Just out of curiousity, when you go AWOl, does that have to do with certain agricultural operations?

We have two acres of garden, surrounded by trees that needs constant attention, plus a further two that a friend owns that I keep under control, plus a B&B, and then of course the pleasure of retirement means lots of biking and shooting…roll on the summer… :unamused:

This has the look of fibreglass about it. Is it an Israeli Leyland, or a GB fibreglass one, or some antipodean oddity?

Edit- Hydrocon- is that it?

Now that’s what I call an active pensioners life
But honestly, you’ve got some nice piece of land there mate, and a B&B as well, just might come by one of these days then :sunglasses:

Those Berliets certainly have presents …you’ll be sharing the woodshed / Chambre, with Nobby, the killer cat…until you’re house trained…! and NO, you can’t PLAY on the Fergie, you can cut the paddock with it, if you can start it… AND bring that old Albion over, I’ll make it work for a living instead of ■■■■■ footing around with it… :unamused:

I can remember those Sovtrans wagons running around in Yugoslavia and through Austria on the way in and out.If I remember it right they also had a lot of tankers on their fleet too.

Hi Fergie,
I noticed you mentioned the Albion and not the David Brown, is that because if I arrived in the Cropmaster it would show that little grey menace up? Careful how you answer because I have back up off Saviem! I’m off home now have a good weekend mate and I will answer all abuse thrown on Monday
