Wow what a pleasure, I did half a days overtime today, my first Saturday in years, what a pleasure it was to drive on the motorway, I did startat six though :wink:
I could get used to this and the added bonus I avoid a hangover as that will now be on the agenda for tomorrow :blush:

I find Saturday shifts quite relaxing especially if I’m on earlies or just a run in to base. Hoping next week is going to be nice and quiet on the roads for those poor buggers who have to work.
Funnily enough I found Friday a doddle as the rush hour was staggered out all day and quite a few BMW & Audi drivers where behaving better than normal, perhaps knowing Santas watching.

Pictures please of your new motor later if your sober enough to hold a camera… :slight_smile:

Saturday’s and Sunday’s are optional for me, as are nights out which are available if I wanted :wink:

I did sat/sun for 8years great money nearly 30hrs most weeks no ■■■■ on roads rather killed my social life though most mates want to drink on weekend not in the week…

keep yer weekends , ive done 2 saturday mornings in the last 3 years due to being held up at drops , used to set off every other sunday but aint done that for over 5 years , and dont miss it one bit ! realised theres more to life than earning mega bucks

Started last night at 2300, got my 5am Tesco Widnes rebooked to 2am slot. Hardly any traffic on the motorway there, 30 minute tip at Widnes, 2hr drive back to the yard. Finished at 5am, guaranteed 10hr pay. I’ll keep my weekends. :smiley:
