Things like working when all my mates are out was a concern but to be honest it’s not exactly a regular occurrence anymore. My mrs works part time so I will still get two days off a week with her and one day to myself. My little boy is only one, so he hasn’t started school yet. I will get an extra day with him.
As mentioned, if I want some extra cash there will be plenty of hours left to put in. If I really needed to get a day off I think my company will be pretty reasonable and try to make it work.
Think I will give it a go and if it really doesn’t work I will ask to change back.
