Yes, depending on which model of tomtom it is and also depending on how confident you are with PC’s and stuff (it’s possible you could knacker your satnav).
Remember that what you don’t want to pay for is copyrighted software, but if you decide to try it start at a website called GPS Underground, “TomTom Truck Only” section.
