Hi
I have a garmin 2515 which I use when close to sites to guide me in the last couple of miles.
Does anyone know if I can use the 24v socket to power it as the 12v socket doesnt work
It says on the charge 10v - 30v but I want to be 100% sure before trying it so I dont damage it
Thanks
Mark
Yep it will be fine,i use the 24v socket on my tomtom all the time and it says exactly the same thing on it as yours.
I’ve been in the same boat but so far touch wood my Garmins not had any problem with 24v supply
Its a good idea to disconnect your devices before switching off the engine and running up the engine before plugging stuff in.You can get power spikes when the starter suddenly stops drawing current.
