well sent the sat nav back after speeking with the guy who calibrates them ( he was very helpfull ) and also im now paying the extra £30 to get the bigger and better one in return he even said if I was closer he would drop one off for me . :smiley: so they seem like a good company worth dealing with … :smiley: its a good sat nav I think I was just unluck and got a faulty one :frowning: but is being resolved and also the delivery was fast … :slight_smile: and it is a UK seller unlike some other sat navs on Ebay … .

Also I have ordered a dash camera ( always better to cover your back with evidence in case of accident) from another Ebay trader who is not so good to deal with they advertise they are a Uk seller from HAYES Middlsex and they are realy in china we ordered on 5 th oct and it says 3 day delivery now its 10 days over due and no responce to my Emails so now its a fight with ebay and paypal trying to get my maney back from china …

i use tom tom go 7000 truck, never had a problem at all, :smiley: each to there own lol

There is not a lot of differance between the two 5’’ or 7 ‘’ but the program on the bigger 7 ‘’ is a 2010 version so all speed cams are more upto date plus i have fingers like puddings so will be easier to opperate and for the extra £30 its worth it I think … the program is the I GO PREMO a very good truck program that can be set up for any truck in the settings ie wheights / hights / width/ ridgid / artic unit / trailer wheights /truck max speed and it does what it says … or you can set it just for car / cycle / pedestrian … the main thing is that it is guarenteed for 12 month or if you dont like it when it arrives as long as it is in the same condition as when he posted it out ( unused and wrapped ) he will refund … :smiley: …it has the aded bonus of a 2nd sat nav program on the card But the I GO program is the best one out of the 2 i think mate … :smiley:

We ordered it on 5TH OCT said 3 days delivery on advert and it never came so the wife Emailed him and didnt get an answer till Today he claims that the stock was faulty / defective and that he Emailed us on the 6th oct to tell us ( he did not as it would have gone in my Ebay mail ) and that he was awaiting new stock from China
also on the Advert he claims to be a UK seller fro hayes middlsex ( he is not ) as the paypal payment went to china … He has offer a refund but as of yet we havent got it as you know it takes a couple of minutes to send money with PAYPAL …SO AVOID THIS EBAYER LIKE THE PLAGUE … :angry:
He has a few bad feed back notes on hid page now all this month all from people who payed for Dash cams and did not get tham … :blush:

Well the new 7’’ sat nave turned up on wednesday so off out around town with it and all is well it does what it says … only one hickup and thats Blackpool councils fault a one way street changed diection last week so not on the map yet but hey cant have miricles … not at that price anyway …it even has a drivers hours saver so you are warned when break is due and thats a big help … i know the tacho gives a 15 min warning but i look at the sat nav a lot more than the tacho …
DASH CAMUPDATE
As for the Dash cam conman well finnaly got a refund and an apolagy from him after sending him about 10 emails …so off we went to maplin and bout a SENTIENT 2 channel in car GPS journey recorder £150 … a great peice of kit not only does it Record the road view but in cab as well and the pc program that comes with it has goole map and it actualy records your journey on that via GPS … if you have a bump it logs the time via a movment sensor .( and you can water mark the proof).a emegancy button and remote in case of road rage . . and it saves all the incidents over writing the normal recordings …on a SDHC card comes with a 4 gig card that will record 4 hrs (but has a continuous record fecility ) but I have bought a 32 gig card …
And being an agency driver it will be a god send when the boss says you cant have been held up for that long
or you didnt do that drop i can say well theres my proof :open_mouth: with the date log and time of the incident …ha
Oh and it even records the speed that you are traveling …via GPS … so when in eastern europe and a hungry police man stops you no more bribes to PC plod :angry:

Yeah, I’ve got one of them too. Well worth it. Interface is a bit clunky and occasionally the routing leaves you with a WTF feeling but for the most its the best one I’ve had so far :wink:

Apart from London. For that I had to set it to a 15ft 3.5t van :wink:
