Hi i need a sat nav this evening so only have Halfords or Currys anyone recommend one niether do a Truck one !
Try the garmins free lifetime updates,i bought one recently seems to be accurate and very good at poining out speed cameras and actual road speed limits.
Garmin car one never caused me any problems. Think was about £80 from Halfords?
If you have a smartphone (who doesn’t these days) download the Aponia app it’s available on all types of phone or tablet (you don’t even need to go outside) oh and there’s a truck version and it’s pretty ■■■■ good too aponia.com
just make sure you take your charger with you though as satnav apps drain your battery relatively quickly.
Cheaper than a TT or whatever from currys too 
If you’ve got an android phone, Nokia HERE is quite good and you can get the whole of the EU offline unlike Google Maps.
Why do you “need” one so urgently? Can’t you just use a map?
