Sat nav on windscreen

Just finished the old epic course and was informed by the instructor that the latest pull is for having your satnav stuck to screen in your field of view (range of wipers), Be warned. What next

That will rake in some serious cash.

always been an offence to block
the swept area, its a matter of chance
i spose keep it low as possile

Often see car’s with sat nags sat right infront of the drivers eyes .
Or just under the mirror.

Mine is planted on the dash top in me daf.
Nice point that you can place it in puddle jumpers.

It’s the same as the old plastic table used to have in the window. Always had to come out at MOT time as blocked the sweep view of the wipers.

I just take cradle and sucker out.
Dvsa road side check last year and the inspector passed comment that it didn’t block the view.
Better then window where the plod/dvsa might take exception.

Best place in a Scrapia is over the Rev counter… Who wants to reach all the way to the windscreen?

Iveco… Over the screen to try and cover all them warning lights. Lol

It doesn’t seem to affect the Colton transport boys whose trucks look like those cuddly toy grab machines lol

I often stick my sat nav on the rev counter or on the off side window.

Stick it on the speedo… No problems as there is one on the sat nav anyway

If you fancy a HUD (using your smart phone and google maps for free) try this: NAVDY. I’m seriously looking to get one and I’m nothing to do with the maker or trying to sell them! Thought it might be safer to use than a standard nav unit?

Not cheap mind;)
