Sat nav garbage

All the best for your wife Pat, hope her recovery is swift.

More power to the company’s elbow too in their support of you both.

My very…

Best wishes for your wife and her recovery.

Dont forget yourself in all of this, find some time to chill out a little.

So the device you started complaining about you now love and enjoy it…
See technology is your friend, you didn’t have to be scared of it.

At a guess it’s probably stored in your devices cache.

If not then it’s a Tapatalk quirk which I’m not sure I can do anything about.

Just booted up a different device (which has been switched off completely for the past couple of weeks). Fired up Tapatalk and there was the “offending” image!

So no, I don’t think it’s anything to do with local cache on my device…

Like I said, it was a guess…

Where exactly are you seeing it btw? I can’t see it when I look on Tapatalk I’m probably looking in the wrong place.

Edit:
Scratch that, it’s in the gallery, and that’s why it’s showing.

From what I have read from Pat - he used to work at tesco.

They also offer a free satnav in the name of microlise now. The problem is that it’s a car sat nav :grimacing: And I’m not joking. Conor will tell us if you input the heights it avoids problems. But I have it on good authoerity (myself, other drivers and transport office staff) that they did not want to spend the money on the truck version so got the car one.

A truck satnav makes life easy. A bit like an auto box. Roads/areas I know really well mean I can do a better job (a bit like an auto bod). But generally a decent top of the range satnav will be better and sort you out with less headaches.

Some blokes prefer manuals over autos. And some people don’t like satnavs etc… But I think they are both top bits of kit and are the future of trucking. Automation and self-driving vehicles are coming - you may as well embrace the tech right now to make the job easy.
