OK, I’ll try to be a bit helpful. I can’t help with Sat-nav 'cos I haven’t even got one for here. However, there are useful road-maps of Morocco out there, for example:
Morocco, Map No. 959 (folding motoring & tourist map), from Michelin;
Carte Routiere du Maroc, from Societe Distribution De Cartes Touristiques (folding);
Guide des routes du Maroc, from Editorial Escudo de Oro SA (small spiral ring booklet);
Morocco Road Map, from Robertson McCarta publications.
Robert
lol thanks robert
Yes there is.
I went there for a month in my own motor in 2008 and my mate had 2 sat navs in his motor, I had a map, which sat navs he had, I had no idea, but that was 2008, so there must be loads available now…I have copied this from a forum I frequent.
GARMIN GPS NAVIGATION
The coverage of Morocco included in the Atlantic basemap loaded in Garmin Streetpilot/Quest units is actually more detailed and extends further south than the coverage shown in Mapsource. Compare them side-by-side to see.
The best solution is the free-of-charge Marokko Topo maps at island-olaf.de/travel/marokko/gps.html I have travelled extensively with these maps and found the roads and tracks are accurate. The most recent version is December 2007. For best results on the road only download the street maps to the GPS unit (i.e. remove the topo overlay from the download) as otherwise you can get confused between contour lines and tracks.
The Marokko Topo map segments don’t take up much storage space as they don’t include routing information. Consequently, when you come to plan a route using roads, you’ll find the GPS will only use the original basemap roads. Which leads to the second point, that GPS navigation in Morocco is best done as ‘off-road’ straight lines between known waypoints.
Don’t bother buying tracklogs of Moroccan pistes, the vast majority of the pistes are already on Maroc Topo.
Hope it helps.

You can get Free worldwide maps for your garmin device from openstreetmaps garmin.openstreetmap.nl/
the mapsource application on your computer will allow you to load the maps onto your device, if you have a big enough SD card you could effectively load the maps for the world onto your satnav.
instructions on how to download and install these maps can be found horizonsunlimited.com/hubb/n … ps-64135-7
tanks every one

You might like to try Skobbler. I bought it when it was free and then bought the whole world for £8. It’s not free now, but I can’t see how much it is cos it just gives me the open option, but it can’t be a lot. You can just buy a country at a time, or block deals. Use it offline as well. Doesn’t have a truck mode though, just car, bike or walk.
