Thank you Alfa man. I can happily report that i have made enquiries that have recieved a positive response from an events organiser with a view of taking some children to an event next year. Great news. I will let everyone know more details closer to the time.

It was a tough day and to be fair i don’t know how her indoors made it thru the day, bless her. The trophy really meant more than anybody will ever know, it truly was a little sunshine on a rainy day.

Strange thing is i spoke to Mr Gill on the saturday and told him how much i admired his truck and then the next day i was shaking his hand and saying how i never imagined i’d end up on the podium with him. Funny world ain’t it?

I guess its like everywhere else mate, steady. Everyones moaning but i’m afraid you’ve got to take the rough with the smooth. Thankfully i haven’t got a 100k truck hanging around my neck.
