Hi, does any one know? When going to Sanquhar tiles in Sanquhar, from the M74 can you use the B797 or the B740 or do you have to use the A702.

depends what you’re driving and where you’re coming from. You won’t make the he turn off the A702 onto the A74 at Carronbridge in anything big so would have to head into Thornhill to turn which would be a PITA.

Best bet is the B740 I regularly used it a few years ago its fine just take your time on the bendy bits. Brown Brothers use it all the time quickest way to the 74. Eddie.
Delivered there for years, sound people, good driver friendly canteen. I have always come up from the south, so A75/A76, except on the one occassion, then I came across on the road from between J12/J13 , by the Red Moss,buggered if I can remember the number, not the best but is easily doable, I was in a 44t bulk powder tank.Just watch the left turn onto the 76, a bit tight.
Thanks fellas, used the A70-A76. Good to know about the B740 though, wouldn’t fancy them B roads without somebody saying they ok.
