Cheese and tomato ketchup - I always thought it was fairly standard, nondescript filling, but all my family cringe when i make it. Maybe it’s just them…

I actually love two pieces of crusty bread heavily buttered. I have a bit of a problem with butter and avoid buying it for the sake of my health. In fact I used to have cheese and crackers on the ferry but ended up dispensing with the crackers and buttering lumps of cheese. This was the point at which I realised if I continue down this path then my life was to be a short one, so butter is now for special occassions only. :wink:

Those French baguettes you can buy in pidou are absolutely gorgeous with just butter on them,they have to be eaten all day though as they go stale real quick. :grimacing: :grimacing:

I vary mine couldn’t stand the same ones every day ,
Egg mayo
Beef n horseradish
Ham n mustard
Tuna mayo
Cheese n chutney/pickle
Chicken mayo all served in granary bread with seeds if possible such as Hovis 7 seed bread.

Yesterday I tried something new, cold gravy spread on the bread, stuffing and Roast Beef!!

I love bread & sandwiches way more than I should!
