RIP to all those involved, take it easy on the roads everyone.

My thoughts and condolences are with the family and friends of the two drivers who have died and also hoping the third driver recovers soon. Samworth Brothers received that call all hauliers as well as the public dread, so I would also like to express my sympathy to the management and workforce too as they come to terms with what has happened. God bless them, and their families through this very sad time. apparently it was triggered by a bonfire at the side of the motorway ( at a rugby club ) and the smoke was so thick it completely left drivers unable to see their hand in front of them…a terrible tragedy…r.i.p.

That’s sad ; those drivers always appear to be decent and well mannered . They always seem to run tidy. Bad enough having one of your workers killed, never mind two ! I saw the Ginsters logo on the back of a trailer and wondered if they were towing it. :frowning:

Very sad news condolences to all involved family, friends and company’s .

R.I.P

RIP lads

Sad sad day for all concerned but particularly Samworth drivers’ families and colleagues - devastating. Often see their trucks in Sainsbury and Morrisons, always smart drivers and outfits. :frowning:

poor blokes, condolances to their family & friends & to the lads at samworths that have lost colleagues

R.I.P. Lads

RIP lads, could have been anyone of us. May god be good to them and their families.

Awful for everyone involved, Know a few Leicester Samworth drivers, think the Samworth drivers involved were from the Bristol cornish depots on the Ginsters contract. R.I.P all.

2nd lorry driver named as Kye Thomas, 38, from Gunnislake, Cornwall, leaves two sons and two daughters.

Mr Thomas, originally from Plymstock, Devon, served in the Army with the King’s Royal Hussars

R.I.P TO ALL.
