I used to change mobiles all the time, for one reason or another, had to have the latest ones, none of them seemed perfect. Three years ago I got a iPhone and thats the one I still have, never looked at another mobile since. Just been working with a Scottish band, about 13 of them and they all have iPhones and seem happy. No idea what the Samsung mobile is or what it can do, because so far I have no interest in other products, I feel like I have the perfect phone, its only my opinion of course, I know many people that seem less stunned by them, but I am happy.
My 2p’s worth, have your thought about a dell streak? no joke: it knocks spots of every other smartphone, period!
Plus if you use any Android smartphone you can use google maps for free and sell your satnav and get some money back.

That phone is huge, have you got one? It looks like it would be great for using as sat nav, but might be a bit big for carrying around in your spare time.
I’m with Drew on the iPhone, I got mine in July 08 and it is still going strong, I get a free upgrade every year and have sold my new ones since getting the first iPhone 3G, it is getting a little bit tatty now so I might just upgrade to the iPhone 4 this July, but TBH I think my original would last another year yet, and it is great for web browsing, making phone calls and has loads of useful apps, I even have a speed camera detector for the whole of Europe and it only cost £1.49 updates every month for free as well!
I have google earth and a comprehensive street map built in as well, it does navigate, but not well, I could of course add tom tom to it if I needed to. I get TV through catchup TV on the web running on 3g for free as well so don’t have to miss my favorite TV programs when I’m away from home for the night. not bad IMHO
I can’t comment on the Samsung Galaxy as I have not looked at any other phones since I got this one

It is big, but once you’ve had one you’ll never want a small screened iphone again i upgraded from the iphone and would never go back, different class of phone IMO.
I’m a bit of a geek when it comes to gadgets, got a samsung galaxy tab as well which is even bigger
