Avoid A36 wilton. Take A360 north to A303. Westbound to A36. A36 north, pass Warminster, to Stand er wick. Just before Beckington turn left at roundabout A361, Follow Frome. Where in Frome are you going?

Going catpetright near Sainsbury’s Don’t normally come at it from the east side , was wondering about that A362

You can’t use the A362 westbound, 17 ton weight limit. East bound is ok, westbound is not… :sunglasses: :open_mouth: but it’s not the best of roads anyway. Carpet place is just of the A361, Follow the Frome bypass to last roundabout, turn right (ignore all weight limit signs here), right again at next roundabout (Sainsbugs on right), left at mini roundabout.

Cheers buddy. Much appreciated

That 17/18 ton weight limit is a pain. I say 17/18 because all he signs on previous roundabouts say 17 ton, but when you get to the a362 the sign is for 18 ton. It’s why I take my rigid down there. But yeah nodding donkey is right take A361 cant go wrong then.

Just make sure you go A360 to A303 otherwise you might end up on the “bridge strikes” thread.

LOL that bridge has been hit so many times, it doesn’t help that he outbound height lights warning sign doesn’t work anymore.

I regularly set that sign off. My 14’ trailer fitted no problem though.

Mine sets off the inbound sign without a problem and I’m only running 12ft,4 , but never see it outbound. The number of rigid that forget to go through the middle is laughable. But then I saw a coach try and take its roof off there the sound was horrendous 50 pensioners all losing there teeth.

If you ever come back to Frome and need overnight free parking, head back out on the Frome bypass , there is a Premiere Inn with a new Beefeater restaurant, plenty of artics park up down the road next to it.
Or Marston industrial estate, you will see the Mcdonalds and the KFC and the police station, once on the estate, the town is walking distance, with numerous eateries and take aways.
Look for the hotels in town, they have decent grub .

Or head out of Frome , towards Beckington, layby on the Trowbridge road, two pubs in Beckington, one up Goose Street, does good value meals, or the Woolpack , down Bath Road, real ales, a bit pricey food, but good . Hot , posh totty in this one .

Cheers Toby il bear them in mind normally start around frome But knowledge is power as they say
