Just wondered does anyone here ever tip there? Im based out the Truro store and reading the Who’s seen Who topics wondered if its any of you guys on here i say hello to? Ended up chatting to one driver about how he got driving for them for the best part of the hour a while back!
If I’d known this earlier I would have popped in, I was only round the corner twiddling my thumbs and having a snooze.

Lol i wouldnt have been there enjoying my last few days off before i start 19 days straight (not sure what the hell i was thinking when i signed up for that, still money towards my C+E)
19 days straight!
They alowed to do that then?
If you do it at our place without them noticing, the ■■■■ hits the fan when they do notice ie, we’l turn a blind eye but bollock you when you submit ya time sheet!
I thought there was some WTD rule that made that a no no, i could be wrong though which is nothing unusual.

I know one of our drivers was doing like 12hrs shifts everday when he was off uni and they picked up on that, apparently were only allowed to do 48hrs a week (some EU rule?). Ive no idea what my stint is going to add up to im doing 6 days, 7 days, 6 days so maybe just under, shifts vary from 5hrs to 10hrs. If they pick up on it will only be drop a day somewhere which to be honest i dont mind, was being a bit keen when i signed up to all that overtime lol.
You’ll have to get up early to catch me, when I’m doing it, I’m usually there between 3 and 4 am. About 12 Hours duty time from Emerald Park, Bristol.

Earliest im in is 6am on a Monday when i load vans. Do you do agency or are you contractracted by them?
If your not driving HGV then I don’t think there’s any rules over max hours as there’s no offical trace really, Same as me and I reckon I average out between 42-54 hours a week.
Something in the back of my head is pinging off that you have to have at least 9 hours between shifts but I may be getting confused with HGV based rules.

Its 11 for EU tacho rules Dew but yeah you can go down to 9 three times in a week, our place though they stippulate 12 between shifts. I believe the WTD state that your entitled to 11 also.
