I seen a class2 sainsburys truck today in Leicester does anyone know where there based and if/which agency supply them thanks in advance

I think it is from Northampton.

They had to buy a load of rigids when they took over Jacksons convince stores as many wouldn’t take an artic,doubt they’d recruit class 2 drivers though as it’s inconvient to them they’d rather just employ class 1 that will go out in a rigid for the same pay as they would get in class one.

i see to many rigid last years when i was regulary maked delivery to Northampton RDC…Anyway nearest depo at Hams Hall and Northampton .All another to fare from Leicester go to work.

Could well be Hams Hall depot, they have load of rigids and cover the Leicester area.

Ok cheers im in Coventry so not too far do you no agency who supply by any chance lol

I managed to get into Rye park on agency with only a class 2, although I got my class 1 a month later

Sainsbury’s Northampton is a Wincanton site so it will be Transline.
