Good ‘bush repair’.
A mate of mine once had to go and rescue a coach that had been abandoned by an overland tour company in Pakistan.
The batteries were knackered, and there were all kinds of other problems. The local mechanics were able to fix everything…including dismantling and rebuilding the batteries with the plates desulphated. Some of the components used were questionable, but the skill of the mechanics was not. He drove the thing back to the UK, but asked no questions about what was going to happen to it afterwards and went to work somewhere else.
Anyway…this is quite alarming here in the UK
^^^Lol sounds like me Dad he holds a tyre lever across the battery terminals to sort the plates out then puts it on charge !
