Is it a “general requirement” to be provided with boots or am I just lucky ? I have seen job adverts saying “own boots necessary” but never really thought about it.
Is it just because I handball my load they provide them ?
Does anyone else have to pay for their own?
If you are in full time employment then any decent firm will provide any and all PPE required.
Re safety trainers, worth asking if they are ok to wear as our firm have banned them as well as rigger boots as they provide no ankle support/protection - wouldn’t surprise me if others were the same.
