for what it’s worth, I have a pair of Dunlop ‘trainers’ with steel toes, which are both comfortable and holding up well. Got them from the Factory Shop, as a change from the usual Groundwork ones I get. About £29.00 iirc.

Who gives a monkeys what they look like, as long as they comply with the regs- mine are Arco and comfortable reasonably cheap and do the job- remind me when truck driving also became a fashion show?

Yep i agree,nowt wrong with looking the part, you dont know who you will meet when you are out and about,fair play if somebody wants to look like crusty the clown in shabby attire
