Safety runners?

Hi guys new driver here, before you ask I have full Dunlop safety lace up boots and other boots but I was wondering would the safety steel toe cap trainers/runners you can buy in b & q Etc be good?

Pros:
Safety toe etc
Comfortable
More kind on lorry interior than huge boots
Leave less changing of footwear as you could wear them all day and not change when getting into cab
Stylish?

Cons:
Not professional?(or maybe they are?)

Just thought it would be an interesting buy

I don’t see any issue with them, they’re safety shoes at the end of the day. Beyond that it’s personal preference. Not for me, but if you think they’re what you’re after. Go for it.

If who you work for are happy with you wearing them then I don’t see any problem.

I prefer boots, so couldn’t recommend any particular brands for the trainer type!
