I did this one yesterday on the www.advanced-driving.co.uk site and got 95% (I must do better ) - there are a few more like this on that site - good fun.

I think that was the same for me - they seem to be basing it on DSA standards and not advanced ones.
that’s probably because the DSA standards are the ones that the majority of drivers use and legal rules of the road are based on the ones you call “advanced” are mainly for numpties and anoraks

I do the same - why would anyone want to use a signal if no-one is there to receive it
The exception might be if there was the possibility that another road user could appear very quickly - advanced drivers are trained how to recognise such situations - I know - I train some of them
ADD - this has the added advantage of making the driver more observant as they are trying to see if there is anyone who requires a signal.
