Safe and Free Parking nr Orleans

Have been weekended in Orleans but since I have to travel everywhere Non Toll I’m unsure of the best places to park. Anyone know of a safe and free parking area.

Thanks for the info wheelnut meant to say was only in a sprinter but its better then side of road

Thanks for the info wheelnut meant to say was only in a sprinter but its better then side of road

I would come up the N20 then, there are loads of places open along there, even on a Sunday

I would go to one of the 2 in Chateau Gaillard about 38 kms north of Orleans and 8 kms north of the Artenay sortie of the A 10 on the old N 20 (D 2020) towards Paris.

One is on the left northbound just south of the town and the other on the right at the crossroads in the middle.

No security at either and not sure if they would be open weekend. Wouldn’t be surprised though. :smiley:

If not you would doubtless have company and there will be boulangeries and boucheries open within a short walk. No doubt a bar too. :smiley:

For a decent coffee, of course. :wink: :unamused:
