Black Saab 93. reg DU02 OFE ‘missing’ around the Black Country area, any sightings please let me know. Cheers, The Old Hippy.
Last seen on Oldbury Road (A4034) between Whiteheath and Blackheath on Thursday.
I would check with poleece & DVLA if I were you , to see if its been disposed of by them for not being : up to date
.
Round our way they have been clamping repeat offenders who arent up to date with their road tax and other items and then lifting and disposing of them if the
owner ’ doesnt respond to the ticket or deals with it appropriately .
Hmm - tax expired last year, MoT expired last month. I wonder where it might be…
It was taken away for gearbox repair last August by the trader we bought it from didn’t happen so we gave the log book back as advised by DVLA, bloke now denies he ever had it off us after we finally got pi$$ed off and involved Trading Standards. It wasn’t at his workshop but I spotted it at above location address which turned out to be his sister in laws, it disappeared within 24 hours of us asking her a couple of questions .Police also now involved and all I want is my cash back. Essentially our word against his unless I can find the car. I can’t afford to lose £850

Go to the Small Claims Court and say your thing. If the trader even bothers to turn up then the registrar will make his judgment on who he considers is telling the truth and who is lying. Just receiving the summons will probably be enough for him to fold.
We’re ready to go with that, all the paperwork is ready to send but we tried Trading Standards first who offer mediation which he roundly took the ■■■■ out of. Just waiting for police to do their bit and Trading Standards lady to come back from holiday, we will then know what route to go down. It’s difficult to deal with someone who wouldn’t know how to tell the truth if his life depended upon it.
