passed half a dozen yesterday up and down the M5,M6,M42
Maybe they have their priorities straight and are ploughing the money where it should be going instead of flashy websites.

I’m afraid in this day and age a decent website should be very high up on the priorities list. It’s your shop window on the world. If someone is looking for a transport company where is the first place they go these days?

OBVIOUS STOBARTS!!
They are still going, sat next to one of them now as I type, seem to be pulling alot of new trailers, looks like they are slowly updating everything, well asides from the website anyway!

From what I saw of it a while ago it is definatly much needed! Looked like something that a child had made with a spare 10 minutes!

Still going, I have been there since jan 2012 and love the job, I’m out 4 or 5 night a week up and down the uk. I think I have the oldest truck in the fleet but she drives nice compared some of the newer trucks.
Im sorry guys, I love this site, really I do. But… Whats with all the knocking of other businesses? I can see why Stobbies get knocked, I can see why all the “Tyrants” of our industry get knocked - and rightly so. But why are we negative towards S & K? OK they may not pay the best, but then the industry isnt per say. There kit may be older than some, but I dont know when the last time I saw one broken down on the motorway, with anything other than a blowout? Even the newest trucks from the smartest operators break down. They are obviously working to a tried and tested plan, and investing spare money in updating the kit. Whey all the negativity?

Nothing to do with this site, they were known as “Skint & Knackered” long before the internet was invented.
Maybe their website is denying “pretend” truckers from accessing it.
