Yes, they are the ones, used to run about 20 motors, a mixture of brick cranes, flats, tauts and bulkers, a typlcal general haulier. He sold up and retired in about 2000. Any idea where and when that shot was taken? Would have been Trev Wardley driving.
Didn’t one of their drivers win his own lorry in a magazine competition?..would have been late 70s. Did he make a go of it?
I think that was one of Banks’ drivers, Simon Sergeant rings a bell, but may be wrong on that. It was a Roadtrain wasn’t it?
No, this was a Mercedes 4 wheeler, a couple of years before Simon Sergeant. I think his name may have been Mick Norman.
