Tidy motor there.
Can I ask what you was hauling with the box to Greece?

Sealandair used to have the job to supply the Marks & Spencers store in Athens 460, thats what the boxvan was all about…

yep, used to load Hemel Hemstead with stuff for Marks And Spencer, average load 3-6 tons, take it to Aspropigiros nr the last Payage before Athens. Reloaded hanging garments for Alpi in Prato for Burberry in Blyth.
Do a trip, 3 days off at home, then off again. Brilliant job.

There were around 6 of us doing the job, my motor had a twin, mine was AV52 MGO, the other was AV52 MHO. I had the only brand new trailer on the job (the one in the picture, a Montracon) There was also a 530 SuperSpaceCab, with alloy wheels and no bullbar, and also 3 FH12 460’s, all motors had the same paintwork as mine, it was a very smart looking fleet, just a shame ive lost all my pictures.

Wonder if m&s still going down there then or is it just because e-bloc on it now.
I was loading regularly last year in albini Prato. That Burberry job usually goes on a croome international now

Today’s pleasant harvest

What remains of an Atki. Maybe the only one i have ever seen in Greece.

141 tractor after quit road service converted to moving loading machine.

Hallo, for us as enthusiasts it should be wonderfull to move to Greece, but we can’t take all with us, so we stay home. The only what I should let behind me is the weather  .

Cheers Eric,

I have to agree!

But such an 140 still in service here in germany would be amazing.

Hope you keep the pictures coming, costas!
Regards!

For sure!! Especially the scania village was surprising.

You don’t have to go to Greece to look for a 141. You only have to go to Preston in Lancashire.
