The same as the difference between a materials transfer co-ordinator and a lorry driver.
i am a HGV1 driver that drives for a haulage company.
and when i had my own lorries i shifted crap from A to B.
i’m not one of those LGV material transfer coordinators that work for one of those ponsy logistics companies.

Logistics can mean a lot more, from planning a load, getting it loaded, to moving, shipping and off loading.
This is why I branded the truck side of our business as logistics, we run a large hiab tractor unit and step frame low loader and it’s not just about the moving it’s about the lifting, moving and setup of offices, containers and specialist loads as well.

Haulage may mean all of what I just stated… I’m not sure but I do tend to think of the term logistics when it involves the “whole” process of moving something rather than just the haulage from A to B of something if that makes sense…
